Can I save a backup of my database?

Yes. Ezemail's "Backup Database" option allows you to create a backup file of your database in "SQL" format. The file will be automatically sent to you via email for safe-keeping. In the event of database corruption (e.g., accidental deletion of data, or the incorrect data is imported), you may then email the backup file back to us to be used to restore the database back to it's original state at the time of the backup. It is therefore vital that you backup your database regularly, particularly before making significant changes to it. If a database restore is required, this SQL file will need to be emailed back to our technical staff to carry out the restore process for you. An additional charge is applicable for restoring your database.
